      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Cars due back from bodyshop this week after some twat side swiped me on a roundabout.  Its coming back with virtually a full fresh coat, so in order to keep the paint looking pristine ive went and bought a load of auto finesse detailing products. Ranging from citrus pre clean through to tripple polish and glisten spray wax. Now this is the question, Tripple polish also contains carnauba wax so would it be pointless putting spray wax on top of this or not. New to all this detailing malarkey...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Made the most of the nice weather and gave the 265 it’s first decent clean in ages. <br />
Used various products I had in the garage, but used Meguiar’s Ultimate wax for the first time. Very impressed with ease of use and finish. Gave the Recaro’s a clean and balm using autoglym. Pleased with how it’s turned out.<br />

<br />
I had planned to take photos of the whole process but completely forgot! Didn’t even get before pictures! <br />
My process was:<br />
Pressure wash, snow foam and Billberry the wheels. Agitated all difficult areas with a brush and allowed to dwell.<br />
Rinsed, washed (2 bucket method), a second snow foam and rinse.<br />
Auto Finesse Aqua coat <br />
Rinsed and dried.<br />
Clayed using Halfords own clay (excellent  stuff for £5!)<br />

<br />
I picked up this stunning Red RS250 yesterday.<br />
The garage I bought it from had it detailed for me which I wasn’t expecting. <br />
I have used 3/4 of a tank already just enjoying being back in an RS again. <br />
<br />
I have already ordered a straight pipe to do the mid box chop. <br />
<br />
I will be posting more regularly with updates and pictures from drives out. <br />

 Got a bit of something that was tarnishing the paint finish, car still looked shiny, but I could see a sort of hazing, looked like I’d splashed through some watery cement or something, anyway it wouldn’t budge with usual waxing / polishing, so decided to try shields clay bar, coupled with shields mirraplate and then meguires ceramic wax, the clay bar worked great, removed all surface contamination, then...<br />

 Hi there, i recently had a tree branch fall onto my bonnet and it left a small mark, sort of looked like a smear of sauce that the chefs put on a plate (if u know what I mean) anyway I could not get this removed, obviously the clear coat was scratched a bit, my general go to for small marks is surgical spirits, and nope it doesn’t mark the paint up, but very good for getting any scuffs of the car, just make sure you apply rag with spirits and then hose over...<br />

Wheels cleaned with Valet Pro Bilberry Wheel Cleaner, tyres and arches sprayed with Meguiars APC and scrubbed. Decontaminated with Auto Finesse Oblitarate and Iron Out.<br />
<br />
Rest of the car got sprayed with Powermaxed TFR, Bilt Hamber Autofoam, Meguiars APC and a brush on the intricate bits, two bucket wash with ODK Jet, decontaminated with Auto Finesse Oblitarate and Iron Out, and got a going over with the Farecla G3 Clay Mitt.<br />
