250 Intermittent engine cut, strange voltage readings?

  1. So after years of searching and swapping bits.. I may have found something regarding an issue i've been batteling with.

Long story short, the car intermittently and infrequently cuts out on me rather harshly for like a second or two.

(old post here of anyone is interested: https://rsmegane.com/threads/intermittent-power-loss-engine-cut-missfire.14706/ made a new one to keep the thread cleaner)

So I was logging obd adapter voltage, and as it happens there is a voltage drop followed by a large spike. Don't know if this means there is a short, or faulty alternator or if it doesen't mean anything at all.

Other than that the voltage swings are of very low amplitude. There is also a slight dip in voltage every time i slow down to a stop. (fans coming on maybe?)

Car has done 50 000km, problems started sometime after 15 000km from what i have found.

Would be very thankful for ideas!
