I've just had one fitted in mine and have the opportunity to get a batch made up.

Almost identical to the Trophy-R bars, they bolt directly to the shell and are perfect for cargo nets, the Trophy-R net can be had for around £120 or diy it for under 20 quid if you can sew.

    Black or Red

    £165

  3. Take it you can't have panels in with this?

  4. I'd be up for one, if this will fit with my rear panels still in place. They do look the same shape as the original ones, so guessing removal of the seat back retainers and feed through and attach to the body? Guessing from the one posted by ROFAG there are more components to it.

Still have rear panels with this, it was made with that thought, it's basically the same ad the Trophy-R one except it doesn't use a bracket to mount to the shell, bolts directly on it

  6. Looks good. How much is it for a genuine bar, something silly?

Think I'll have to have one of these.

  7. Interested in this. Is that £165 posted? Can we order individually or is there a minimum order?

Genuine bar from Renault is over £400

Individual orders are fine providing a deposit or payment in full is made as they shall be made to order to start with

  9. If I retain my panels then that sounds good mate...let me know if this is happening. I'm offshore until next week, but sure I can sort money out for you if needed.

    Thanks :grinning:

  10. That bar as depicted in photo looks counter productive in its current form. as it's only single pinned each end any twist in body and bar will also just twist. Double pin the ends and it'll serve as net hanger and offer some rigidity to car body.

Makes no difference to rigidity regardless , just like the actual bar it's purely to hang a net off and it's more than sturdy enough to do so.

  12. I'm a definite, been looking for ages!

    Black please.

  14. Epic, thanks for sorting this out.

  15. What's the bar made out of steel or aluminium

  16. -Jamie-

All steel, it's not built to be structural or to use with harness but on the other hand it isn't flimsy.

You'd probably be able to wrap a strap around it and tow something [emoji23]

  17. anyone know where the best place to get the webbing net from? renault parts direct list them....anywhere else?

  18. Yeah I did some looking into this last night and going direct to Renault looks to be the best way to do this.

There's two parts I would recommend based on what I found out.

    Main webbing: 8200892200
    Lower cargo net: 7711422533

The main webbing is about £120 (I think, but haven't checked) and the lower cargo net is probably about £35-40. I would get the lower cargo net because it will help cover up the carpet you get to replace the rear seats (as it likely won't be a perfect match to the OEM carpet) and it will probably be really useful for keeping things strapped down.

For people wondering how they fit, Look at Neils photos. Same bar minus the end loops for the cargo nets which i don't think are strictly needed providing you have it tightened up

  21. I've dropped RPD the site sponsor a message about the webbing. Hopefully get some feedback and price, although probably monday at the earliest now. I see they quoted £180 in a previous post, but the cheapest I can see is £148 on a few other sites.

  22. Christ, last time I looked at RPD I swear they were around £140. Cheers Brexit!

  23. I went to Renault this morning to pick up some bits. I bought the net and webbing while I was there.

    Carpet net 25+vat =£30
    Bar webbing 148+vat = £176
    Total- £206

The rear bar is near enough £400 and the Capet to cover when you take the seats out was £321+Vat which is mental for a bit of carpet.

8200892200 is now RRP £187.04 Inc Vat

Best I can offer is £150.00 Inc Vat if we can secure a group buy of 5-10

Stock is currently showing in the UK but would need to confirm on ordering

    Regards

  25. Cheaper webbing option? Buy some motorsport window and roll cage webbing and adapt it. £20.

  26. I bought black webbing off eBay,measured, cut strips to size, got the daughter in law to stitch together.Mine is made to measure, to fit on the harness guide bars, just behind the Recaros Cost?. Around £17, buckles around£7. If you know someone with a sewing machine, then this would be the way to go.

If I could sew or knew someone that could to a reasonable standard I'd be getting nets made to go with the bars.

However it's likely I'll just get the Renault one, yes it's a bit more money but it bolts straight in exactly where you want it to. Plus even with the genuine net and my bar your still under what Renault want for the bar alone

  28. Do we start a new thread on who wants the Renault webbing? Not interested in any other variations or numpties who just chuck their tuppence worth into a thread they have no interest in, other than increasing their post count with drivel.

  31. No VAT charges within EU (currently still part of that)...

  33. No vat but could have import tax applied, this is very much at discretion of custom & excise based on value/country of origin and in this case unlikely to be much

  34. Nope. No import taxes within the EU either.
