Does anyone know if this invalidates the car insurance? I remember ticking a box that the car was not modified. Does this count as a modification?
Definitely a modification, anything as obvious as that would easily be picked up by an insurance assessor so would have to be declared, whether it would invalidate your insurance would depend on the policy.
I'm a little older now (exactly middle age) if you die at 72 that is and I find insurers very reasonable with modifications. I increased the HP of my BMW to 400hp and my insurance went up £20.
Not a performance modification(increase in bhp), so I don't reckon it would make a difference. Probably worth telling them though. My insurance is with Greenlight and includes all modifications and I pay a bit extra to cover me fully comp for track day cover.

Hola Tupac, te consulto, ya te llego la nueva palanca de cambio? Yo soy de Argentina y estaba por comprar una CAE Shifter porque no conozco otra marca confiable... me sale aproximadamente lo mismo que la ZeroP. Tenes idea si es mejor una u otra o si son similares en calidad? Muchas gracias
Hola Guillermo la palanca es de una calidad muy buena yo e comprado la zpo pero un amigo tiene cae y la diferencia es que Cae trae el juego de cables con la compra pero en tema calidades son muy similares además de que en el precio del Cae el más barato es en aluminio y en zpo es en negro por la misma cantidad.

Hi, I already buy the cae. But when installed I could only give you data compared with sock shifter There is another one, cooler worx... I watch a review and is cheaper and similar to cae, not the same.. I bought cae because I'm in Argentine. I go to the secure. But If I leave in Europe, I could try the cheaper. I have a lot of cost for shipment and customs.
