Bought my second R26 a couple of weeks ago and an hour after getting home and a day before I went on holiday the passenger side window regulator went ! Whilst on holiday a mate found a module off eBay as the motor was fine and fitted it for me before I got back. Now both windows only go down and up a little bit at a time ? The drivers side didn't do this before he fitted the passenger module ? ? Confused.com ? ? ?
Take the window to the top and hold the button for around five seconds. This should reset it. Test it now, should work as normal.
Excellent cheers for that. Just tried it now. Drivers side works perfect again. Passenger goes all the way down but coming up still only goes up in stages and a good few presses ? ? Ah well 1 out of 2 ain't bad
Tried it on both switches. Goes down on the one touch then goes back up in stages then one touch doesn't work after that ?
For you've tried to reset it a few times, and it still isn't working on the one touch. It may need the plug on to the regulator cleaning up as it can corrode.
Should work off the drivers side passenger button. Give it another go, all the way down back up and hold.
Just given it a try on the drivers button as its finally stopped raining and its still the same goes down one touch but back up in stages. If it's dry this weekend I'll have a look at the plug. Cheers for the help
