225 Window Regulator - a fix if you have tried most things

I have been having window regulator problems, changed it still did not work. Eventually solved it (hopefully), what it was is the loom that connects to the regulator. What I did was take off the yellow cover and squeeze together the connectors in there to make them tighter. The issue I think was in its old age the connectors (female) had become slack and not tight as when new (similar to women). So the regulator was not getting a solid connection to the loom giving me the intermittent problems.

I only made this post as I searched for a fix and have not seen this mentioned before so just a heads up if anyone else is stuck.
