  1. Picked up this car in late May but only just got around to making some modifications.
Nothing too major yet but already done the following:
    • Retrimmed steering wheel (Alcantara)
    • Forge Recirc valve as the original one was leaking boost and now it's definitely a lot better.
    • Interior LEDs
    • Silicone Inlet Hose
    • HEL Clutch Damper Delete
    • Short Shifter
    • Brodit phone holder (not sure this counts...)
    • "Borrowed" a Type R beesting aerial off a mates car he was selling
    • Replaced worn out standard Megane mats with Renault sport ones.

  2. What's the benefit of a clutch damper delete? Never heard of those.

  3. nice car, however i would remove the EBC yellow stuff brake pads as they are pants according to loads of members that used them and before. Instead use PFC-Z rated 100% miles better.

  4. Thanks for the info, will see if I can cancel the order I had for them and just defer changing them for now.

  5. Removes the clutch damper device which is prone to leaking/failing eventually and also makes the clutch pedal a bit heavier, which I honestly prefer. Thread here explains it better and where to buy:

  6. Cool! Take it this must be a mk3 thing... Never heard of them on the mk2s

  7. Very nice mate. Where did you get the mats from and how much?
Was the short shifter easy to fit?

  8. Mats I got from RPD here: http://www.renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/parts/accessories/renault-megane-mk3-rs-carpet-mats-8201491497/
There are a couple of different ones that fitted the MK3 but went with those in the end.

Short shifter took far too long to fit and wasn't really worth it for the price, supposedly it can be done easier and alot cheaper but didn't know that at the time, plus I like that the colour matches with the clutch line.

  9. Thanks mate. I have the same mats in my car but they are in need of being replaced.
I’ve just seen the price of the short shifter and I think I’ll pass ha!

  10. Cancelled ordering brake pads for now. Other planned mods I am going to be doing over the next two weeks.
In the mean time I switched the gear knob over for the RS one and gave a quick clean as realised I hadn't posted any pictures of the exterior yet:

  11. Completed another couple of mods done:
    • Hybrid Turbo
    • Lower Gearbox stabiliser
    • Airtec Intercooler
    • Uprated Fuel Injectors
    • Braided Brake Lines
    • KTR Induction Kit
    • Full KTR Exhaust System
    • RSTuning Remap done at K-Tec
Ditched having an uprated actuator done as it wouldn't have held the boost with the hybrid turbo apparently.
Was running 286 BHP on the Dyno down at K-Tec before all of this work now running at 357 BHP and just under 400 lb/ft of torque.

Torque sounds pretty high, Don't be surprised if Rodney comes knocking eventually
