White 250 - Progress Thread

Just red i think, I got it from a company on Facebook, but comes with whole unit and works out quite expensive, since then someone linked one that you buy and just stick for a fraction of the price

 

You can pull the surround out at the bottom, and then feel behind and it comes out

My car goes in Wed for the springs, spoiler, seatbelts and rear pads , going to get them to look at the emergency lock too

 

Went with H&R, had Cooksports last time, and thought they were a bit hard a crashey, nearly got Grams, until someone said they are basically Cooksports. Yeah i got one in black, so will match the wrap at least

 

Should have said on my last Megane , on cup atm

 

Cars back, will get some pics up tomorrow, My pocket is £1K+ lighter

Had Front pads, read pads, rear disks, and then i have had the 265/275 spoiler fitted, red seat belts, and H&R springs.

 

Few pics then , think it will still settle a bit more, as i have only done 20 miles on them so far

Sprayed the exhaust surround this morning, and made something dissapear whilst letting it dry

Not sure i like it black lol, have got a spare one if i change my mine. Also have two RS badges kicking about now, might plastikote one set black and one red

 

Picked up a spare set and sent them away to be re webbed

 

Got myself some RS valve caps



Will most likely end up on some chavs BMX at some piont

 

Yeah cheers, will have to keep an eye on them, i had some on a MK1 Meg back in the day and never had any seize

Gave it a good clean today, getting a bit dirty

 

I also gave the windscreen a couple of coats of Gyeon Clear View, just need some wet weather to test it out

 

Apparently my car is doing 0.5mpg lol

 

Had service and mot last week, only minor service, had only only done 6k on 13 months lol. Also had 2 new front tyres, lower ball joint both side, stabiliser bars both sides and the other bar done too

 

Sprayed the lower front spliter black today, looks much better than faded gray

 

Yeah it will get some abuse, done with plastikote, so easy to repair

 

Think I have found my next car, this should be up for sale by the end of the month

Yeah, I was originally looking at getting the sti, but read nothing but horror stories about the 2.5 of that era

 

Well bye bye to the Megane, will be missed, took a massive 1 and half days to sell it. Now for some AWD fun

Is a Jap import, Forester Cross Sport S Edition, with manual. Pretty rare car in the UK
