As above folks, tyres need replacing and I have5 a clue what to go for, prices seem similar for all 3. PS2 was the choice on the Trophy but on the 175 I'm not clued up at all!
I'd definitely be looking at PSS's if I were you. PSS is the replacement to PS2's, PS3's are different again, and from what I've seen, don't get great reviews. I'll be getting PSS's when I need a new set of tyres!
I took Dunlops Sport Maxx RT. I don't use car on a track so I am very pleased with quietness of them, and more than enough grip on wet. They came about 25% cheaper than Michelin. I understand that you prefer Michelin, I also was using Primacy HP, Primacy 3 on my previous cars, and I liked them, but too be honest with you, Dunlops are not so behind to pay more money for Michelins.
PSS's it is then, I don't know what it is, just like Michellin as a tyre, other option was the Hankook V12 that everyone raved about on the clio but I was never overly impressed!
I need some new tyres so it looks like pss are the choice but I can't find them in 235/40/18 95y do they do that size?
I don't think you can buy them in 235 yet .. Camskill have good prices on them in 225/40/18 Or try lovetyres that's where I got mine from
It seems they have them in the USA anyway. http://michelinman.com/tire-selector/size/235/40/18/OE/BNW/pilot-super-sport/tire-details
I replaced mine not long ago but the PSS were not available in 235 so I went with PS3 and they are a good tyre plenty of grip wet and dry. I am not using the 250 on track so the PS3 are fine for the road.
I got a set of 4 v12 evo Hankooks on my rs250 cup, not a patch on the ps2, never had so much noise when cornering from a tyre. Never again, stick to the Michellins mate
As above the v12's work better on a lighter car. The s1 is superb. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/2014-Auto-Review-Max-Performance-Tyre-Test.htm
