Can anyone tell me where the oil filter is located on the mk3 meg? Can it be seen from the bonnet area or do you need to go under the car?
Can be seen just about from above but to get it off its an Under the car job mate mine was a pain in the arse to get off, only ment to hand tight I thought, mine certainly wasn't
Yes it is particularly difficult to access on the 250s and definitely an underside job, but easiest to say front of block about halfway down and more or less in the middle.
Yeah, got three across the front and two either side of the rear then pull to release the side clips. It's gotta come off anyway to drain the oil!
