Wheel offset for stock suspension

What megane is it?

I only know the offsets etc. for a Mk2 Renaultsport (225, R26, R26R) Megane. If it's one of those, I doubt they'd fit - the wheels would poke out of the arches 43mm more than the OEM wheels - that's a big difference!

 

Ok - I still think they'll poke out of the arches too far - hopefully someone with some real world experience will come along shortly!

Your new wheel 18x8.5 ET33

65mm - 33mm=32mm. Not taking in to consideration the extra wheel width (.25).

I would say, no.

 

I have 8x18 with a et42 offset and they are flush with the wheel arch on 225 tyres..pretty much the limit really.

 

I disagree, I have 18x8 Et38 and they fit fine.

 

No they won't fit I've tried 18x8.5 et30 with 3 degrees of camber and they still where too tight

Different cars I think! You've got an R26, right? These boys have a Mk3 Rs, which gives them a bit more room to play with.

in this weather ,4mm is all I have to give!

 

I personally would stick to something in the 40s offset wise
