250 Wheel colours?

  1. Morning all!

The paint on my wheels is not brilliant and there are a couple of kerb marks from the previous owner, so I'm looking at having them refurbed. What do people think to colour options? Stick with the gunmetal, go black, something else? Opinions or clever photoshops welcome!

There are some pics of the car on page 2 of this thread.

    Thanks,

    Nath.

  2. They really suit the grey colour.

  3. Black looks good on red. I couldn't decide with my R26 which is red, so I went for a darker grey than standard and it worked really well! R005129 was the code.

  4. I know, I keep thinking black but then I see some wheel that almost disappear in black. But mine do have some curves and angles, so maybe not. Having the roof wrapped in gloss black at the same time though so....

  5. Shadow chrome gives a classy finish imo. When mine are clean they look epic

  6. Your car is my inspiration at the moment! The lights, the wheels, the stance!

My pictures don't show it too well, but they are similar. Did yours come like that or have you had them done that way?

  7. Thanks bro appreciate it!! No I got my wheels done that way. Reds an awkward colour to go with and try to be different as not much goes with it. Personally I'd try finding a nice after market wheel as that will always make a car stand out more.

  8. Mine are in black on a red 250 just like the picture (which is stunning!!) I have never liked black wheels on any car but they really really suit the black bits on the 250. I initially wanted my wheels refurbed in anthracite but was unsure so went with the default option and went black. However mine are up for a refurb just before summer next year and maybe some kind soul could do us a photoshop of the 18" cup wheels in the 182 trophy wheel colour?

  9. I'm going for red on oyster grey
