  1. Hi All

New boy here just picking up my RS265 on Sunday.

Just looking for intel on best plugs / plug gaps, and best oil to use. Car is mapped to 320hp, and will be only ever used on track, and for getting to and from tracks.

    Cheers Carl

  2. Oem plugs 0.6mm gap.

  3. just bought the higher rated NGK plugs for mine.Supposed to be the ones to go for with a tuned engine.Gaped to 0.6,as its thought that a bigger gap can cause the spark to be blown out, when the car is producing more power than oem.

  4. NGK BKR8EIX

  5. hello and welcome

  7. Oem plugs are ample mate. Ive ran stock plugs that were fitted straight out the box on our megane 225 at 285hp for years, then at the current 306hp, no misfires or nothing. I fitted the plugs at 47k from memory, and now its on 70k and not touched them.

My kangoo runs oem r26 plugs gapped to 0.6mm at 375hp too, no issues.

  8. oem are in there now..been in there for years, but with limited mileage.Only gone for the BK`s as a lot of others have put them in..maybe overkill..but just thought i would try them..

  9. Ok great, will go OE then, what is the part number pls?
