  1. Hey

My brake pedal is good but not awesome even with braided hoses and fresh brakes with EBC Redstuff

I bleed the system with fresh Ate Dot 5.1 and even bleed the abs pump with the help of a friend in a workshop with his pressure device so it’s really airless

but my pedal have mhm how I should describe, it’s like the first two finger depth are useless and then the brake brakes.

i know from another cars how it is if it’s not bleeded correctly it’s not like that, but even my golf 4 brakes directly and the Megane need some more punishment on the pedal
Maybe normal ? Tell me then =)

i have a broken hose which could cause that :

I taped now a second layer liquid metal and a hose over it but want to replace it ASAP but where can I found one ? Someone have a number or something?

    And now my other question
What does this thing do :

try to understand how the brake system work an this should be the magnetic Ventil for the pressure for the main brake cylinder
Could it be defect and not opening fully?

    Thanks for reading

Think this is what your after, but as usual Renault use other pics for more than one car, this looks like a Clio set up by looking at the inlet manifold.

Its number 7 by the looks of it.

The first picture that looks like the non return valve, if that isn't working properly it will not give you full vacuum at the servo, this also stops pressurised air entering the servo.
Also it might make your engine to run lean as it lets air into the intake.

The second picture is of the solenoid for the vapour system

  3. I don’t get your first 2 sentences. Do you forgot to add a picture because the sentence with number 7 ?

    and for the other part
Okay that makes sense. I think it’s fixed for now but doesn’t want to drive it forever if I don’t found it new I try to find a used one

    thanks for the explanation

  4. Thank you  I will try to buy it at Renault
