  7. that looks awesome such a nice red

  8. Very nice pal. Where do you live as I drove last one of these in Beaconsfield the other day?

  9. I live in Winsford, Cheshire so wasn't me.

  10. Added a second ball stud to my gear linkage! short shift is awesome, can't believe I haven't done it sooner!

  11. https://vimeo.com/156967604
I serviced my calipers and replaced any worn dust seals and re greased them up which has stopped the squeaking! My mate also added a 3" decat to his ly 265 which is currently running a stage 2 map with an after market acra exhaust and an airtec intercooler. To quote BVG it's sexual chocolate as you can hear in the video! It sounds so angry and bangs all the time! My heart is now firmly set on a 265 as my next car!

  12. Washed it and took the obligatory multistorey car park photo

  13. I bought some Gold Class and a big tub of Muc Off because it's not been washed in a month or more and it's starting to look more brown than white

Been thinking about changing cars but despite all its faults I just can't bring myself to make any serious moves.....

    Uprating mounts

  15. So finally got around to sorting the Eibach Pro kit out. When the old suspension came off I was a tad shocked at how bad it actually was. Top mount bearing was shattered into pieces and the spring was snapped in 3 pieces. How it didn't cause more damage I'll never know.

However when the new kit was fitted the difference was incredible, no more body roll and it sits the car down nicely. Very happy

  18. Pulled the passenger door card apart trying to locate a rattle, only to trace it to the plastic cover on the recaro

    Doh :-(

  19. Yep, glad i sorted this out...

  23. Decided to give it a little clean again today.
Used Autobrite products (very impressed with them).
Sun shone for a bit and the flame red us a gorgeous colour.

  25. Washed it

  26. Finally got round to cleaning the scuttle drains out ,and fitted k&n panel filter.

  27. technically yesterday but.. fitted my k-tec 3" decat pipe.

Did it on the floor, it took all day (started at 10am, finished at 7pm!) - not because of the sheer amount of stuff you have to remove to get it out, but because nearly every single bolt / stud on the cat was seized and took either a lot of convincing to get out, or snapped! the only three that came out with relative ease where the three holding the cat to the turbo.

Glad i did the job though, car sounds awesome and will hopefully benefit massively as soon as the remap happens.

I also found that the centre driver side drive shaft mount was fitted incorrectly, so fixed that while i was under there too!

  28. Ace

You haven't done a before and after vid have you?

  29. I didn't sorry.. At idle it doesn't sound any different but get some gargling on overrun which sounds nice and sounds much more raw under accelleration - my induction noise is overpowered by it now though!

It had a 3" cat-back exhaust with resonator already - not even sure on the brand because it was fitted by the previous owner and i've not seen any logos on it anywhere.

Induction kit and FMIC / hard pipes next then in for a remap - that's the plan anyway!

  30. Cleaned her again after a trip to Silverstone...... Black car plus salty roads = a right mess lol.

  31. I'll sort mine this weekend, I shot one with my new camera!

  32. Removed the rear interior, gave it a very quick check over in prep for Snetterton tomorrow.

  33. Had a full set of PS4s fitted. Not had the chance to try them out yet but my Vredesteins were nearly on the legal limit so anything is going to be an improvement.

  34. Fitted new front Brembo HC discs & Mintex 1144 pads along Witt mr pink caliper pins.

Turned out to be a nightmare job as one pin on the drivers side caliper was seized solid, worst I've came across. Ended up grinding it short & drilling the remainder out the caliper.

  35. Full detail, pre wash.de tar(lots) ,wash, clay mit, dry, polish then waxed , another coat tomorrow too

  36. Fitted front mud flaps, seat side F1 Team stickers and an EZLip neoprene rubber spoiler to the under side of the rear bumper. Wasn't sure what it would look like but pleasantly surprised. Now can't decide whether to fit my Clio 197 side skirts or sell them and leave the sides as they are or fit EZLip trim down the sides as well? Just need to fit my reversing camera and new lack plastic door handles, though can't decide whether to leave them as they are or paint them and the bullets black or even door mirror grey.
