Visited Mr Black at Bolsover car care. Cracking job replacing my hub bearings and fitting my cooksport springs in about 5mins flat. Very reasonably priced too.

What coilovers have you got Jamie? I'd love some but for the amount of time I spend on track (virtually nil) I can't justify the cost.

Finished the so called running in period on the Trophy.

Race mode engaged and nearly rear ended a Corsa coming off a roundabout. Brutal :eek:

 

Had a new set of tyres fitted to spare wheels

Fitted the new wheel and a tow sticker

 

New rear pads and discs on the Trophy. Fresh brakes all round now

 

Just ordered ds2500 pads, new 5.1 fluid, braided brake lines and Mr pink pins, all in preparation for brands hatch next weekend Sunday 1st Feb., anyone else going?

 

Pilot super sports , I'll use them on the road and wet track days, I've also got 4 direzza and 2 R888s so I'll be ok now for a while

Gained 38bhp after fitting a 250 turbo and 630 injectors. Feels good to join the 300bhp+ club

 

No not yet mate, I'll have them on for cadwell on the 14th of March though, been to busy and to be honest it's too cold for spaners lol

 

Is that the Cadwell trackday on Meganesport.net? I fancy doing that one myself.

 

Not sure where it's advert but it's the 14th March through javelin £129, there will be around 6 meganes going

A day late, but yesterday just stood and watched whilst my doors defrosted

 

Fitted new injectors, no more spluttering exhaust, sounds as it should now

 

Received a newly powder coated 225 wheel today for use as a spare in the Trophy.

 

What else has the car got?

 

I'm one of the meganes booked on track with some honda lads and a cooper a and a 350z.
Looking forward to getting on track again.

 

Gave her a good scrub and a coat of sealer, fitted my CLRC5+ fronts and EBC yellow stuff rears.

 

Painted my door for when I remove the window and fit polycarbs

 

Paint looks slick mike,

the rc5's are ace, perfect all rounder the rc6 i had after was massive overkill!

 

Cheers, yea notice the difference with the pads, it's like night and day. Perfect.

 

Did the yellowstuff come with the antisqueel pads on them?

be interested if CL sorted the sizing and squeel out, i remember mine were fractionally too small so you heard them click when you were parking or reversing and got squeel at low speeds so i just broke harder lol
