Cleaner it yesterday. It was disgusting as it hadnt been cleaned since the end of September! Short trip up the motorway last night to go for some food and the rear is fikthy again ... brilliant!
Washed it. Dried it. Fecked everyone off in the queue for the jet wash when two buckets came out of the boot at the petrol station
I always do that. Used to feel awkward if people are waiting, then realised you're putting money in the machine just like them!
What a good idea what do you do fill both buckets up with the jet wash then jet wash the car then use the 2 bucket method
YUP!! Brought my own super suds in the bottom of the bucket. My towels (as I won't use their brush). Throw a couple of quid in the machine and filled two buckets with their pre wash. Then with the remainder douse the car. Then two bucket the car using the jet wash to clear off wash down and "wax". To be honest its more than enough till the car rolls the 1/4 mile back to my garage where I will wash each panel before polishing anyway. Just gets rid of the salt off the car before parking it up. Then I can wipe down each panel at a time and clay, polish wax at my leisure. I started doing it last year as I got sick of buying Kârchers only for them to keep breaking. One lasted 2 washes!!! Plus I dont have to tidy up after.
These arrived on my desk. Extremely happy with how quick the intercooler took to get here 3 working days from the Netherlands
Fitted my winner racing FMIC, new headlights and Led side lights. Managed to blow a side light fuse in the process, which took out the rear and number plate lights too. Think it took me longer to change the fuse than it did to fit the intercooler lol
Like Steve said only bout 30 mins to change over but the winner racing intercooler needs a bit of trimming of the lugs or it sits pissed Extra 10 mins to get it level and sitting correctly
I gave mine a wash on the drive Saturday but will just take my prewash in a pump sprayer to the garage and hose down to keep on top of the grime/brake dust until the weather improves
Me and my niece have just done mine. Never thought about doing it tbh but 3 mins later it's hell of lot cleaner, ease of use just to blast all the Crap off. Until I get the detailing gear out.
Apparently it's an updated design Steve. The old one has a cover that says 12v and this is plain. My other was Dodgey and I don't use the cigerette bit so just oreder this. £26 :-/
Fitted a new passenger side wiper and put in a temporary headlight while the hid kit is away with the company getting replaced under warranty
I just use a 2 litre one from asda .... does the job perfectly! Not paying stupid prices for a pump sprayer
Driven it past a camera van on a bridge over the A38 doing more than the speed limit...saw it but think it was too late, I'll find out next week!
New Brembo pads and disks up front, Front calipers painted silver New windscreen washer pump Rear pads and discs tomorrow, and a caliper paint.
Fitted updated rear speakers. Will not be repeating that anytime soon. Right ball ache. Sound is is deffinately worth it though but I need to get some pop rivets from renault soon. And fitted my r lighter socket ;-) now I can use my sat nav and charge my phone :-D happy days!
