What have you done to your Car today?

You couldnt have paid me 10k to put them on my car nevermind pay for them out of my own pocket

 

Yesterday my car was treated to new discs and yellow stuff pads, 2 new boot struts and a second splitter under my ownership. After driving without a splitter for a few weeks it's amazing how much it finishes off the front end and the boot struts now mean I'm not going to do myself any damage as it opens all the way.

 

Just fitted some of them super white bright bulbs and LED sidelight bulbs, wot a pain in the arse the main beam bulbs are to get at. lol

 

New engine mounts delivered, cheers Adam, booked into diamond motors for fitting on the 5th, and booked into rstuning for 630 injectors and a 3" decat map tweak. Can't wait

Bought a set of solid engine mounts and powerflex bottom mount! should be interesting vibration in the cabin now...

 

I have put one Rimblade to check if I will not suffer any leaks from tyre.

 

Ordered a set of cooksport springs for the r26

 

Little thrash with the girlfriend after picking up her new AG 200

 

New numberplates 13x4,4 inch

 

Had a tidy up of my washer jet hose and got new number plate lights but looks like a new loom is needed too :-(

 

One of my plate lights was like that I got one of someone breaking a meg and just soldered the wires and heat shrinked them if you can find some it's a cheap easy way of doin it without replacing the whole loom

 

Spent several hours cleaning the arches and painting a few little bits to tidy the wheel wells up. I painted the centres of the HC Brembo discs and did the droplinks after this pic was taken.







They're not perfect but alot better than they were!

 

Mot day today. Passed but wasn't cheap.

 

£79 for labour for those little jobs, that's outrageous

Fitted a new front stud kit looks 10x better than the previous set i had and stuck a spacer on!

 

I fitted the rear light loom. Bastard.

 

Ordered some DS2500 brake pads from Cazan

 

What spacers are those mj can't find them on ktecs website

 

Got them from the eBay shop. Think they are either old items or test. 10mm & 16mm rear

 

Done the back box chop. Sounds awesome

 

Where did your gets your done, can't find anyone in hampshire that will do a chop

 

Luckily I managed to buy a back box that had already been done from a member on here who'd just bought a megane with it done and had reverted back to a standard back box. So I literally just had to cut the back box off and slide the new part on.

Apparently a power flow place will do it

 

serviced the DV bought some parts for my DIY ITG intake and fitted a Cupra Front Splitter, oh and bagged an RS Tuner box

 

Booked my car in for a corrosion claim :-(

 

Booked my car for tyre sensor claim.

 

Btw folks- worth checking where the plastic bit on the boot rubs either side. I only noticed as I was changing the loom over.

Fitted my cooksport springs today

 

Botched a fix for the bracket for the front bumper. Hit a kerb the other day and it popped the bumper off at the left hand side.

 

Fitted an auto dimming rear view mirror

 

Nice little mod. I've done this myself.

 

Swapped a fuse.... Taking the piss

 

When's it off for its wrap mate

 

Fixed my regulator as my window had stopped working!

 

That fuse box is lovely to get to haha. Been there done that!
