Hi Jamie What was there reaction about the fault and did they admit the problem, great it's all sorted
The gas plugs had worn causing the leak, both dampers eventually leaked as well. Not sure what they actually do but they were sorted with no quibble under warranty and had several bits replaced, can't complain, AST UK is superb now its ran by Cooksport, the dampers arrived on the Monday and were sent back out to me on the Thurs!
They are genuine Renault ones, robbed of my 2016 Trafic works van! Takes 2 minutes as they are direct fit and have an angle adjustment screw on the side so you can set the spray height correctly
insured the 250, and taken it out for a spin yesterday and today, lots of popping and banging and explosions etc which is a laugh, battery topped up and filled with fuel. will bang on the big brakes later this week and sort out all the tyres so have 2 sets of spare wheels all ready to go for the new season, love my R26 and starting to love the RS250 too, first trackday booked
No, They are not mist jets. They have been superseded by normal ones and you cant get the mist ones from Renault now.
Surely if Renault are still fitting them to new vehicles they can still supply them? My works van, that I removed those ones from, is a 2016 66' plate Trafic
Bizarre. I'll call in to my local dealer and see what part number they have listed for replacements on my van.
There was a group buy on here when Ads used to work for Renault Wolves, They superseded the mist type ones with the jets but kept the same part number. If thats changed then great as one of my mist ones could do with replacing
The Megane and twingo both failed mot [emoji17] Suspension components and brakes. So decided to refresh them both, with Grams for the Megane and H&R for the twingo, discs and pads all round.
I just fitted the h/r springs to our twingo rs dam the ride is so hard let us know what you think of the ride after u fitted them
Are they legal plates with all the extra garbage they have to put on them? I think I can see the extra bit at the side?
Oh right. That will look good on track. Im looking for fully legal plates where the extra info on the plate isnt really noticeable.
sorted looks shit but drives nice down bumpy narrow roads, the squishy soft suspension is a relief some times from the hard suspension on all the other cars.
So I managed to call in to my local dealership and the part number I was given for the mist washer jets is the same as above 289307646R. At £14.78 + vat each I wasn't prepared to take a gamble on them being correct. Looks like I'll have to make do with jet washers on my van for now.
i think the term `cheese grater` was invented for the j hook...You really could grate cheese on them! Better give them a quick wipe down first though!
Had my car in at my local Renault specialist (TW & S BARKER) today for a brake and clutch fluid change, full health check, and install the grease bolts, recently purchased from Mat E, on the front hubs. All done and recieved a clean bill of health
