Going to get mine done at a local place in next couple of weeks. Ive seen the guide on here for removing them and will use that. I have a 225 Trophy which is only getting 20mpg from normal driving round town although short journeys generally and to me feels a little sluggish off the mark. Cleaning the injectors canot do any harm can it?
My R26 had done 43k when I had the injectors cleaned and it showed an instant 2mpg improvement, from 28 to 30mpg average. 20mpg is terrible, unless you're caning it something isn't right.
My R26 has done 43k and have a new set of injectors to put in, mine as a small pop on tick over when warm. But I only average 22 around town with the odd blast up the dual carriageway on my way to work.
