Finished nights this morning and thought I'd go on a drive. The megane never fails to impress, it just gives and gives and the harder you push the more it entertains! but either I'm getting old or the roads I were on today were mighty crashy!!! I do know I'm in need of some near side ball joints so maybe that wasnt helping but God it was harsh today! It was very wet which is how I like a good blast and the grip it gives once warm is brilliant! If only it sounded a little better.
I do find that crasheyness(?) becomes less as the the speed increases. Get them up on their toes and the harshness lessens, but it's definitely there at low speed. Nowhere near as bad as my lowered Clio mind. That could be physically painful. Drop the back seats and take the carpet out before you set off- that should increase the sound a little. Shift work is great for being out on the roads when they're quite. I've just today officially stopped doing shifts after 25 years.... Erm
Every blast the back parcel shelf / carpet is out that is a must! Ye I've found it to get a lot crashier over the years now! Over the same road my 182 trophy could 100% handle it better!! The bumpy road that is.
