Looks like an RSR rental. I rented an R26R from them in 2010, which if I remember correctly had an excess of 15K euros at the time.
Fortunately its not me driving but its said that the driver was unharmed. Can't see the attraction of the place when the risks are so high and costly, each to their own though.
Ouch! Far, far, far too fast for that corner. Werseifen is a low speed corner. Totally on the wrong line too coming out of miss hit miss. This is what happens when you don't know the track and you go hunting for fast lap times. As as has been quoted already, RSR's excesses aren't cheap! A lot of people are unaware of this. I took a load of young squaddies down there one weekend. They rented an R26.R but had no idea of what the excess was until I told them. This was after they crashed their own car in the morning on their first lap.
Does seem strange that everyone was struggling with that corner. It's not a particularly difficult one, unless you don't know the track or there has been fluid dropped.
This, Its a 2nd gear corner in our Meganes and use the torque/LSD to pull you out it from lowish revs. Just someone with little track knowledge thinking they can push hard, Did cringe at it though.
Seen this on facebook btg page, love this place but it is a reminder of what can happen if you push too hard!
The track looks damp/greasy as you can see the dry line forming as the video goes on. Either way he's still entering too quick. @jamie, im normally in 3rd here, I find there's normally only 1k revs spare in second
