In line with gear stick roughly but under car wen I start car or its been running there's water that drips its doesent smell think there's a little pipe there from what I can see. Oh and does it weather aircon on or off. ?
Well if you're not adding any water and it's not run out of anything, what else can it be but condensation? Are your scuttle drains clear?
They are under the bonnet, at the bottom of the windscreen. Common problem it seems, even on MK3's, to get blocked with crud. This caused water to leak into the cabin, but as an outside bet could be causing your problems. To check, poor some water on the windscreen and check that it flows out quickly under the car.
Always done it on mine, wondered what it was too but can only be condensation from AC. There's loads sometimes, looks like it's got bladder weakness....
