Does any body know how I would b getting water in my door pocket by the speaker. Not the one with the lid on it.
IIRC this is quite a common problem but I can't remember for the life of me what the cause is. I'm sure someone will be able to tell you.
There are drain holes on the bottom of the doors.Mine were under the rubber door seal,so i cut holes in the rubber seal to allow the water to drain.Where the glass slides past the rubber window seal,I applied a sealing compound,in both the corners,and this has stopped water ingress,by about 90%. I also resealed the speaker,and the door pocket has remained dry.
Bloody hell ok guys cheers. Just dried it out with a cloth went for a drive and all was fine until I turned left. Then it came into the door pocket. Can't work out were from. Is it a door card and everything off to do this fix?
