why would you need to do it on the meg? washers arent really a weak point?

You can't find any alternatives that work.

And to be honest if they're set up properly and are free from debris the standard ones are excellent

Mine are shit at the moment.

Found someone on Facebook that had changed them to VW mist ones, and directed me to a link on ebay. Got them, but no idea how he fitted them. Will need to modify them a little to get them to fit.

Meg ones arn't mist style ones thats why i would want to do it.

standard ones are fine yeah but if it was a plug n play like the 1*2 then i would have changed them.

Not fannying round with stuff tho so i will stick with oem.

They clip into holders designed for the Meg bonnet if you look so it's as easy as clio.

  7. Subscribed as I'd like to install mist jets. Meg ones are ok, but mist jets are better.

  8. I put Citroen C2 mist jets on the Clio, vast improvement over OEM. I found the two jets from the Renault absolutely useless. The mist jets provide excellent coverage using less water too.

The jet needed a small lug trimming slightly with a sharp Stanley knife in order to fit.

Has anyone actually looked at where they are positioned and how they are fed?

You've got no chance of finding any replacements unless you physically lift every under bonnet fed car with mist jets and measure them.

  10. Golf's have them in a similar position.

Just need to cut the knob that they come with to stick on with off, and then attach to where the OEM ones go. Shouldn't be too hard.

(I'm talking about the ones I have, not the other ones mentioned in this thread)

Just went out to fit. Fixing them to the bonnet shouldn't be too hard but I hooked them up, taped them in place and gave them a squirt. To be honest I wasn't too impressed. Not going to bother fitting them. Will just get some gen new ones.
