Hi Everyone, I'm actively looking for a Megane 275 CUP-S in decent spec. Trophy would also appeal, but appreciate they normally have an extra exclusivity cost that may tip a Trophy out of my ideal spend but please share if you have a Trophy that sounds like it fits the bill. Colour - Liquid Yellow / Flame Red (Could be swayed by the right Oyster or White Trophy) Mileage - LESS than 40k-ish MUST HAVE: - SatNav - Bluetooth - RS Monitor - Akro Exhaust - Recaros - ORIGINAL PAINTWORK (I'm realistic on age related bits, but rather a car in full factory paint) - FSH - Cambelt & Associated bits done - Ohlins (Not essential, but would tick the third big Meg box) - Any Gearbox issues sorted (I can work with a car that may be due clutch, as i'd likely fit a Single Mass Fly alongside) Light essential modifications such as induction and maybe Decat / Sports Cat are welcomed, but I'm not really looking for a car that's had the full hybrid turbo, bigger injectiors etc - More original the car the better for me. The perfect car would be a cherished one that the will leave the current owner broken and in tears as it's taken away - those are the best cars to buy, truly cared for. (Whilst I'm joking, I'm also not hah!) Happy to consider cars which are in need of some general maintenance work, such as Ohlin rebuild etc - BUT - the price must reflect whats needed. I'm willing to spend top money for a top car, not top money for an ok car so please don't be offended if I offer you a price lower than asking if the car requires work. Haven't really set a max budget, but I'm not made of money. I've viewed a Red Cup-S with all boxes ticked @ 38kmiles recently and walked away as it just wasn't what I was looking for and the seller was not willing to move more than £500 on price even with Ohlins needing work and a cracked suspension turret up front - that is still online for £17,500, so somewhere around that figure would sit well for a good car but not limited to that figure.
