Had my car in for an MOT and my friendly mechanic whilst passing it without a Cat also gave me the OK with an issue with the headlight level? He said it needed a part which had failed and it levelled the headlights. Its got Zenons but it not that levelling its something else.... So, he rings me and says its going to cost circa 200 from Renault which surprised him (me more) so I say I will source one.. I asked him for the part number which he gave me as 820041343466... On a couple of Renault part sites that doesn't return anything and I have asked him for the name of it but he is has gone on holiday for a fortnight with no email, or no interest in work more likely so not responding... Told you it was vague.. Anyone know what it is so I can try and source one and save myself a fortnight
aha bless him, he just emailed me from his caravan ... Headlight level corrector... anyone know the part number and does circa 200 sound right?
Hi mate I don't know but do you have catcar catalogue because then you can look see for yourself, you need the model number from your car i have it for a 225 but yours is a R26 isn't it ????
Start from here and use the drop down box's to chose your lights http://www.catcar.info/renault/?lan...pbWc9PXx8Z3JwX2lkPT04MHx8c3ViR3JwX2lkPT04MEI=
Genius! found it from that link, it a height sensor apparently and looks like the part number was 8200 not 8300, which was the one he gave me http://ar-demo.tradesoft.pro/search...lts_by=final_price&term=0&smode=A&from=catcar Thanks guys, appreciate all the help as always :-)
