Hi all, I’m checking to see if anybody knows a bit about the following. On my wife’s megane 1.4tce there is a vacuum pipe or anti-pollution pipe as Renault called it, it’s the one that has flying saucer one way valve on it and connects into the air intake pipe. My question is what’s the purpose of the connection piece that goes into the intake, it seems it can swivel around, when I look through into the intake pipe it looks like there is a plastic piece that closes the hole from the intake inner side... (if that makes sense) I’m assuming the hole must be open, otherwise why connect the pipe in first place? Thanks for feedback.
