What did they cost you, i'm interested in a set.

  3. Looking good mate. Would you say that fitting the shortshift would be doable for a mechanically inexperienced person such as myself? Looking into getting one for my next mod and just wondering how difficult it is to fit.

  4. Where did you get the new caps from mate?

    few more updates
done a few bits to the interior, first i got hold or a spare gearknob insert, sprayed red for the number then went over it with the anthracite and did the same with the glovebox trim

the original inlet i had powder coated went funny, so i sourced a new one and while it was off i finally got round to fitting the PTFE gasket i bought

the window switch went wrong the other day and it decided to open the window by it self while i was in work, but luckily they came and told me. god knows how long it had been open though. so new switch was bought and i haven't had any more problems

also i noticed rear discs were low so ive bought new ones. i went with the solid discs found on the DCi175 meg so it matches the front. i went with studs on the discs as well, painted the centre of the disc so it stops rusting

How easy does the handbrake come to bits? The handle on mine between the arms is loose and rattles, feels ready to break!

take the plastic gaitor off that the handle slides up and down in, the insides of the handles slide back and use a hair dryer to soften the glue which holds the outer covers on

    cheers

just sprayed with filler primer, sanded it down then went over with normal primer

and i bought a second hand for recirculation valve, i bought a service kit to replace the o rings and the piston. the pistion i received wasn't the same as the one in the valve so i sent a email to forge to make sure they had the right piston. they informed they had improved the valve and would send out a new one(i thought they would send out a new piston) i got the parcel and it turned out to be a whole new valve, which really surprised me. top service from forge!!!

  40. And this is why I would like to buy an r26 from an enthusiast! Thread is much better than a few stamps in a service book. I do them for all my cars.
    Great car and great thread.
So it's OK to go with solid discs on the front then? Cracked discs on these aren't as much as a wallet killer as the buying guides make out then? How much were the injectors?
