For sale is my 57 plate R26 which is currently sat just under 63 thousand miles. I have owned the car for 3 years and have done loads to it during this time to keep it tip top. Below is a list of things that have been done. OS driveshaft replaced NS cv boot and steering arm replaced Both headlights replaced due to broken lamp holders. R26R clutch and engine dynamics lightweight billet flywheel around 1500 miles ago. Cooksport springs fitted. Scorpion decat pipe. Mega carbon rear wiper delete. Door handles and interior pulls painted. Injectors replaced at 58k K&N panel filter. Drivers door latch replaced. Front bumper painted and new oem sticker fitted in June 2015. Ultra red engine cover which is slightly peeling, but I have a spare with all mounts intact. 3 Michelin ps3's with loads of tread left and one nearly new PS4 due to a puncture in November of last year. Ktec black edition grooved discs with no lips or grooves and ferodo fast road pads with loads of life left. Wezmoto braided brake lines and Mr Pink pins. The car has a full service history and has been cared for by Kevin at Armstrong autos who really knows what he is doing with these. He is also happy to speak to people about the car and go through what it's had done in more detail. I also have all of the original parts for the car should the new owner wish to return it to standard, and these will be supplied with the car for the right price. The car also has almost 11 months mot on it and passed with no advisories. I'm looking for £5,900 but will accept sensible offers in this region.
I think 6k is a fair asking price. It is a starting point. Considering the clutch and lightweight flywheel alone - this makes up for the difference with a 5k car. I would rather (and i did) pay the extra for a well looked after car because it will probably work out cheaper in the long run!
Prices of any car are all over the place, have been since 2008 really. I'd pay a grand more for an enthusiast owned example any day. I also thought it was a bit cheap considering how nice it is. GLWTS mate
Tided up, it's his car and it up to him to advertise it at what he thinks it's worth not for someone else to tell him. If you're interested, make him an offer.
Mine isn't due belts until next year or 75k whichever comes first. It's not even that expensive on these, about £450 all in.
Bit much for me at the moment mate. Still got my clio, but will be looking to sell that soon ish. I saw a red one as I've linked which is within a now budget. No idea how it's been maintained, should know more tomo
