Tyre/Wheel Covers.

  1. Last year,i Damaged an Alloy. It fell on its side, and damaged the paintwork. Now, to my surprise, my daughter in law,has just made a Tyre/Wheel cover for me. Its multicoloured, waterproof, is padded, and completely covers the outside, with an easy tie,on the rear. There is a removable carry strap, which can be used as a tie/strap down. Also, its personalised to me,as she has added my name, and R26R to the front cover. I asked her if she could make another, and she said, what would i like in the way of Names/ Numbers on the front cover!. At least my alloys should be safer now.

  2. Richbrook also make something similar, I store my spare set of wheels in them. £40 for a set of four to suit 19" wheels

  3. Lets see some pics, sounds really cool!

  4. Unfortunately them don't cover alloy at the outside, nor are they padded in any way,and they are generic. Mine has my name, and car type,i.e. R26r. on front. Carry strap,is removable,to strap alloy to tie down hooks/roll bar etc.If yours fall on the front, they will be badly marked,( I had this happen to me last year) the cover does not protect the alloy. Mine being covered and padded will.Even the ones with the trophy R don't cover the whole alloy, nor are they padded. Pays your money, and takes your choice.

  5. Mine have carry straps, cover most of the wheel face front and rear and they're reasonably padded, otherwise they'd be pretty useless

  6. Will your kind daughter make me a set if I pay her Arthur

  7. Hi Steve, wait till you see mine first. See you at Cadwell
