   Anyone wth a Mk3 got a full size spare wheel with a tyre pressure sensor going to get a tyre fitted to a spare today and not sure if the sensor in the spare will interfere with the others.

   I have carried spare wheels in the car (that had sensors) and not had an issue if that helps.

   the TPMS antenna will only pick up signal from a rotating sensor, i.e. from a wheel fitted onto an axle.
   
   If it is stationery it will not be sensed by the TPMS antennas

   Thanks wasn't sure exactly how it was sensed but it's n the boot and all the rest are reading fine. Thanks for all the replies. Out of interest if anyone's has a full size spare where have they got the screw in cap thingy to secure it

   The car definitely picks up the signal from the TPS when the car is stationary!
   I know this because i can see the pressure going up (on the dash) while I'm pumping up the tyres.
