Hey please correct me if I'm being stupid here. when I pull up for example at night with my lights on and turn off the engine the only way I can turn off the lights is to open the door. This is ok when it's my end destination but if I'm picking someone up for example and don't want to get out the car this is a little bit of an inconvenience. Any advice on this?
Is this with auto headlights on? On my 225 I just manually switch to sidelights and then back to off and they will switch off.
If you hold the end of the indicator stalk in for 10 seconds that will toggle auto lights on/off. Alternatively, and I'm speaking from memory, press the start/stop button again (with feet OFF the pedals), or press the door lock button twice. Both of those will act like turning a key back from "ACC ON" position. Can't remember of the lights go off with that as well but it kills the interior lights, radio, air con etc.
