Turn up the engine after a long time.

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by André Silva, Mar 26, 2023.

  1. Greetings everyone.
My 250 Cup have been stopped for 8 months for some bits and bobs and now it's time for put it on the road again.
I never fired up the engine on these 8 months, should I have any caution before starting it? Change fluids, priming the engine? If so, can you guys give me any advice?

    Thanks in advance

As long as the oil looks clean and all the rest of the levels are okay, then just push the button.

No different than starting a rebuilt engine for the first time.
