Hello All, My rear brakes are binding on my 225 cup and have recently bought some R26 TRW rear callipers to go on that I'm going to refurbish. Can anyone tell me if they'll fit? Whats needed to fit them? Straight swap? Are the pads the same? Are the brake lines/handbrake fitment the same? Cheers Ric
Pretty sure. They're a totally different caliper from the ph1 rear caliper which means the mounting point are different.
Only paid £30 for the pair so no real dramas. But would like to have a go at getting them bolted on. Either that or refurb the ones I have!
Like stevo says they won't fit, they're a totally different style. Save yourself the trouble and buy the proper ones.
Bummer. Ive got me old mans r26 and me 225 in at work at the mo. Ill take a pic for you Ric. See whats going on with these different calipers. Crackers how theyre not the same :/
