Does anyone know whether the Recaro’s in the 275 Trophy are identical (other than the fabric) to the ones in the 250 Cup. They certainly look the same but was wondering whether the design may have changed a little. The reason I ask is that mine in the cup have a bar at the rear which is about an inch off the floor and as I’m 6’3’, it prevents anyone from sitting behind me. Going to be a problem with a 3rd child on the way. Think I’m going to have to sell up.
I’m aware you can raise the seat up but it just feels uncomfortable and is in the wrong position for me. It’s too much of a compromise to be honest. Test drove a Spec C Impreza yesterday and a Golf R today. Both decent but nowhere near the excitement or feel of the Cup. The only thing which would suffice I think would be the new Type R, and that’s too expensive. Very annoying.
Funnily enough I was looking at them earlier, they do look great and about 3/4K cheaper that the Civic. I don’t need another car until July next year so will hold out and just enjoy smashing the Cup around the back roads. The prices may have come down a little more by then too.
I will defiantly get one in a couple of years when the depreciation has leveled off on them, they are one hell of a car for the money
Been and test driven an I30n today. What an amazing car. Feels more fun than any of the other hot hatches and is much more practical than the Megane. Trying to figure out if I can buy one now!!
The i30n is a good car. Was developed by that Albert guy that did a lot of the M cars. Look forward to see what there worth after 3 years.
