Typical have all this hot weather and the Aircon dies on the trophy - she's in at Renault having a new compressor. Glad I got them to sort it before my road trip next week to Europe
I had the air-con re-gassed at latest service. The tech called me part way through and asked why I wanted it done. Dumbfounded, I told him because the air-con doesn't work very well now, and I had smelt the gas leaking out before on 3 or 4 occasions. It works loads better now, but I still can't get over why they wanted to know why I wanted it doing, as though it was impossible for it to go wrong! At least with a new compressor, it should all be done under warranty I guess, including the re-gas?
Yeah all done under warranty but I did just have it re gassed - oh well should all be nice and cold when I get it back
