Morning all. I'm just after a bit of advice on tyre size for my mk3 RS for track use. Is it worth getting wider tyres on the front, say 235/18 or 245/18 or just stick with 225 all round? I'm using AR-1's and on KW Clubsports. Thanks.
short answer NO stick with 225 the 225 in AR1 rubber's already giving you load grip and if it's early track days for you maybe get good understanding of car chat to other folk track side then later can decide. Also a 245 section tyre would normal need a 9' wheel
