Any one used these tyres, if so what do you think, bit pricey, mainly going to be used for track days, life expectancy ????

  2. Too pricey for what they are. Mixed performance capability.

    many thanks for the info

  4. had them on my twingo and they were alright on track but not great, look good though :tongueout:

i still sing praise of federal 595r, they r a good tyre in wet and dry

  5. I had a set on my 172. Set me back £300 at the time. I loved them. Did one track day and went to the ring on them, did 4 laps and still had good amount of tread left.

I'd buy them again, but having 18's now and not 15's the price of them in 18's is to steep for me.

I will be going for the Federals for this years Ring trip. Heard nothing but good about those.

I ordered a set of Federal 595's they should be here today, i had NS2r's before, thought they were great, they wore down quicker than i was hoping but still good for 4 track days and 1000 +road miles, then someone told me they were shite so i am hoping the 595's are going to do the job

NS-2Rs and RSRs are very, very similar. I found the soft compound Nankangs to be better than the Federals though
