It's at Elvington guys it's a wicked day and some awesome cars there with massive specs.. It's a drag day with a handling course and 2 mile top.speed run.. Here's a link watch the video
Straightliners if a great group of drag racing/top speed/wheelie record guys. they hold events at York elvington, kirkbride, santapod and probably others. iv been to a few of there 'run what you brung' events at kirkbride, no nonsense fun. £40 gets you as many quarter mile runs as you can do in the day. last time I managed 18 blasts at the 1/4 mile on my triumph speed triple. just turn up as long as you have a helmet, long sleves and a safe viechle your good to go. Id highly recommend it. Ten of the best is the highlight of there calendar each year. I wouldn't mind going myself.
Been every year for the last 5+. It's absolutely class, even better if you camp the night before too.
I know paul at rstuning was hoping to run last year but the car wasn't ready, so maybe he'll be there this year
I made it along to this but only saw one other Meg. A Grey FF 250 parked in the competitor area down by the exit to the handling course. If it was anyone's here, I'd like to know what the little extra lip spoiler is at the front, as mine doesn't have one and it looked good. It was a pretty good day though, with some seriously quick machinery on the quarter mile.
