Tooth number of crank sprocket wheel for oilpump drive F4R or K4M

  1. Hi Guys,
first of all merry christmas to everybody !
I should have a small info about the F4R engine: I´m doing currently an engine project with an Alpine A 110 and would like to use the oil pump of the F4R engine due to it´s chain drive ( the old engine has an gear drive what makes a lot of troubles). I have a pump of the F4R engine, the sprocket wheel has 24 teeths. Now i should know how many teeth the crankshaft wheel has to calculate the ratio and the resulting rpm of the oil pump. Maybe there are some guys who has torn down the F4R engine or there are pictures existing what shows the crank sprocket number. I browsed in the net but didn´t find a precise picture. Please don´t confuse it with the timing belt wheel whats the first you see outside of the engine cover. The chain sprocket is behind and will be seen after removing the cover. Additional info: The K4M 1.6 L engine has the same pump and chaindrive as well as the Clio 3 with N/A F4R engine. Every hint is welcome. Thanks a lot.

  5. Thanks guys for your help in times when nobody thinks about oilpump ratios unless myself.....
