TomTom Sat Nav Retrofit

Discussion in 'Electrical & Interior - Security, ICE, Wiring Loom' started by Damian s, Mar 9, 2020.

  1. Hi All,

I have wanting to install sat nav into my RS250, it's something I miss from my previous cars and with business travel I prefer inbuilt to using my phone - anyway, I have been told that this is simple and that the looms are already present and it's a case of plugging in the screen/nav unit and joystick where the cupholder currently resides.

So, is this actually true? I'm not convinced as I would imagine a GPS Ariel is required, that is the wiring is already present in the loom.

So does anyone have any experience with this that they could share?

    Thanks

  2. Think I may have answered my own question - no GPS ariel on my car so I would imagine I would need that and the loom to provide the signal as a minimum.
