End of last year the megane was sold in favour of a Honda s2000. The s2000 lasted a few weeks until I found out the engine was a very poor quality build to cut a long story short So the s2000 was sold and I ended up back in the safe place of yet another Renaultsport megane 250 cup. Brief spec is as follows: Cae Shifter Uprated gearbox mount Middle box chop and decat. Bc coilovers Team dynamics Pro race 1.2 alloys with ps4 tyres Airtec intercooler Stage 1 rst map In terms of performance straight line speed isn't quite as quick as my old mk2, but the chasis is superb in terms of what it is capable of. BUT somehow (and I know other people will agree) no where near as rewarding or as fun to drive as a mk2. My plans with the car are 630cc injectors and a hybrid turbo next month. I used to have a 225 on 280BHP until he blew up but I agree with you, they're quicker in a straight line than the 250 and less fun to drive despite being much better in the corners.
