265 Toe rod end

  1. Replaced tie rod end at repair center Left and right installed turns Unbalanced length Does anyone know roughly how many turns or length? Already done the wheel alignment, but when accelerating, the corner of the steering wheel turned to the right for 2 minutes, and there was still a steering rush situation. The left and right dynamics are different. Thank you.

  2. Im not too sure what your question is, but it’s very common for garages to leave the track rod bushing on the old items and throw them in the bin.

It is worth inspecting to see if they’ve done that. It also sounds like you need the car aligning again - you will never get the car tracked up perfectly by counting the turns or measuring.

  3. RS_Row's suggestion is spot on.
It happened to me "in reverse" - garage changed the outer cast aluminium hub and the bush was left in the old hub. So when the toe/steering strut ball joint was tighted it held for a while (alignment done), but after a short while loosened. Resulting in heaps of play/movement. When accelerating it would pull one way, and under braking the other. On the track it would also bring up ABS light - different wheel speeds.

  4. I also pull the steering wheel to the right when accelerating, and it will automatically return to 12 o’clock without pressing the accelerator. It will display ABS light when driving normally
