R26 To the left ....to the left

  1. Recently noticed my car pulling to the left when firmly braking. It's done it before but I replaced the track rods and inner tie rods and solved the problem, straight as an arrow.

but now it's started doing it again for some reason, had MOT a month ago and nothing raised about play in the steering. Can any body suggest likley cause..

    Yup as Steve said.

I had a seized piston in my front passenger side and anything other that the lightest of braking made the car very, very unstable as it pulled and squirmed around.

  4. Really I thought maybe tracking altho that was done with the steering arms about a year ago.

How do I un seize the caliper

  5. Unsticking a caliper - is it a n easyDIY job or best taken to a garage . ??

  6. Can be done DIY, you'll need a rebuild kit and maybe a new piston

  7. I see. Thanks for the heads up people. A certain garage in Bolsover may be getting a new booking soon.

  8. I had this and car failed MOT last week, the right brake pad was stuck in the caliper its sorted now with new pads etc. It was worse under hard braking
