To anybody that has changed engine mounts themselves. Just wondering if anybody has done these themselves and of so how easy are they to change? The bottom one is simple enough but I need to change the top engine mount at least as the vibration in the cab and when revving is becoming a right pain in the arse. Cheers. Paul
presume you mean engine Mounts ? The top mount is easy , as is the bottom . I would say the upper gearbox mount is a little more involved but still not a massive job , battery/ecu out to change that , definaintly spray some release oil on the battery tray bolts and have a brew before you remove them
Ha, yes mounts is what I meant. Too early in the morning for me this. Had the battery tray off last week anyway so that comes off easily enough. When changing the top does the engine have to be supported or anything? Don't want to take it off for the engine to move and not being able to get it back on
