time for a remap?

  1. Hello all. Right i think its time for a remap. I was up north and saw this meg 225 and both stepped on it for about 10 seconds. Was on motorway but hes was a 2 door and mine 4. Other than the fact cylinder 2 missfires on mine, i need that sorted. What can i do to get the most power. Currently have a milltek and dump valve.

    Whats the next steps?
    Do i need a hybrid turbo nd are they dear?
    Induction kit? IC??? But ic's are expensive?? Any cheaper solutions??

    What most people on here do is go for stage 2 remap, the mods you need imo :
    - exhaust and de-cat or sports cat
    - Bigger intercooler (i have and recommend the Airtec one)
    - Forge actuator (as most standard ones can't hold more then 1,1Bar boost pressure)
    - 630cc injectors

    The most recommended company to get it mapped is RSTuning http://www.rstuning.co.uk

    It will see you somewhere between a reliable 280-300bhp and max 300lbs, anything more and your standard internals eventually will fail and then you can go for forged internals and a BIG turbo and get 500bhp:wink:
