  1. Hey guys,

I got a check engine, check esp + limp mode for 3 weeks now, we hooked up the computer and showed a P2100 - Throttle Actuator "A" Control Motor Circuit / Open error on 3 diffrent diagnostics i cleaned throttle body 2 times and still got fault.

  2. Does the butterfly valve in the throttle body still have tension (does it spring back)? Are you noticing significant increases in fuel consumption?

There is a potentiometer in the throttle body and one in the accelerator pedal. One of these could be failing. If everything in the throttle body looks normal, then maybe try changing the accelerator pedal. It's a sealed unit and comes with the potentiometer. A lot cheaper than changing the throttle body in circumstances where you're not sure.

    What does your mechanic say?
