I'm not into the type r. Looks like whoever drives it should be called 'dazza' from Wigan pier. Although i'm going to be biased, I wouldn't swap my 250 for Lucy Pinder.
Haha I like that dazza reference. In my opinion - it reads like an awesome car in terms of power and handling. Howwver on various videos I've seen on YouTube from foreign magazines the Megane beats it in a drag race on a few and it was either EVO or pistonheads where the Megane beat it as a "drivers" car. For me I would keep your Megane and keep saving for something better. I think the looks are ace especially in that grey colour but I personally couldn't own it I would feel a bit of a d*ck at the lights. And every man and his dog would want to "race you". Big chance of having your door booted in for that too..... Again just my opinion and if you was to swap I really don't think you would regret it.
Its a very marmite car. Drive one and spend some time with it, its quite a different thing in some ways anyway, the Civics have huge boots with the seats down and they can be folded back up the other way too (although I haven't checked if the R does this). Switchable suspension and mapping also makes it more of a Jekyll and Hyde car than the Megane, again one may prefer this. 5 doors v 3 doors etc. etc.
I'm not getting on the focus rs bandwagon, but if I was in the market for a modern 5 door hot hatch I just can't see how the civic comes up trumps on the nee focus rs in any aspect. But thats me
Ye looked at that also but the 2.3 eco keeps breaking and breaking the head gasket Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
A serious weight difference between the Civic and the Focus, which may or may not be of importance, depending on your priorities.
