Not megane related but I thought some of you might like to see this. I'm not really into straight line racing but non the the less I find this very impressive! I didn't get a pic from the final results but the Subaru managed an 8.3 run @ 178mph at the end of the day. Oh and he rung it out to 210.6 mph. Not bad with a mega head wind I also heard a certain 59 plate R26 was holding 1st place on the handling circuit all day Saturday, lapping around 4 seconds quicker than some of the GTRs Cheers
Some very impressive cars on that board! im surprised the Andrew Gallagher focos rs didnt make it along. Also seems specky from RSTuning done really well in the corsaru!
That corsa looked mental.! A real sleeper. Any idea what power it runs mate? The AG focus wasn't there last year either if I remember right? Only ford that I saw run was a v8 3 door sierra with 1.6 badges and huge drag tyres lol. Corsarau is running something like 480bhp!! But knowing specky it will have alot more power next year. Lol The andrew gallagher focus seems to be getting more work done to it. Ooo that focus <3 The corsa was flying, no idea what times he was setting. I wouldn't want to meet him on the traffic light gp lol
The corsa was putting out mid 11 second passes, but i expect alot more from that car! The focus is over £100k to build and around 800bhp and weighs around 1 ton! Usually destroys the andy forrest scooby. Lol. looks like a fun weekend
Yea I no about AG mate (I'm a ford boy at heart) thou iv not seen the ar in years. Tbf, the head wind was ridiculous yesterday, the svm R35 (medusa) topped out at mere 211 and a rips engined R34 couldn't better his 8.8 quarter. The AF Subaru looked like he had a brand new pair of turbo. He smashed the quarter and handling circuit and only lost the top speed by 0.4mph
Bet there wasn't a certain white Mitsubishi GTO on there as it dumped its oil in the little chef carpark near york
There was 2 GTO's and a Skyline together and one of the GTO needed some attention we were waiting for people to arrive for our run to scarborough when an AA van pulled into car park to sort him out
